Exhibition

For the final exhibition, I was not able to print any actual 3D printed piece, but I have tried to visualise my 3D pieces on the 360 fusion as shown below;

I was not happy with this visualisation because it was not exactly showing the idea of my character’s characteristics, which was based on the weather winter. Therefore, my tutor suggested me to exhibit crystal cones with resin and actual ice on the exhibition.
However, I have tried to make resin and ice cones by trapping the materials like threads to show the winter colour theme as shown below;

Temporary | Frozen

Inspired by the White witch from the movie ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, I have explored the evilness, selfishness, an emotionless and heartless character of the witch. By experimenting with crystal shapes which are pointy and dangerous but beautiful at the same time, I explored the duality of good versus evil.

Also, the image shown below is the final look of my exhibition including my poster;

I was not happy with my poster because I think the size of my images is too small, I should have done it a bit bigger to show the details of my images proportionally. But, I think the ice sculptures have worked beautifully throughout my exhibition, they were functional and showing the natural melting process on the spot. Also, the ice was showing the idea of the vanishing evilness, heartless and sadness from the winters
